Joining Scout

Do you want to learn through camping, hiking, building projects, and community service? Do you want to build your self-esteem, a sense of value and belonging, a sense of accountability, and teamwork?

The Scouting program will build you mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. The skills that you learn in Scouting will help you overcome obstacles and challenges with courage and character throughout your life.

Whether you are a Webelos Scout who has just earned his Arrow of Light, a current Scout looking for a new Troop or a young man who is looking for an adventure, Troop 818 is the place for you.

To join Troop 818, or Boy Scouting at an Troop in Stillwater, you must meet a few simple requirements.

• Be a boy who is 11 years old, or
• be a boy who has completed the fifth grade, or
• be a Cub Scout who has earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, or
• be a boy who is not yet 18 years old.

Now What?

When you are ready come and visit us at the Scout Hut. We will have an application you can complete and now you are a member of the Boy Scouts of America and Troop 818. Welcome!
